What is the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan diet?

Gyros Tal 800

Vegetarian in everyday usage we mean a person who he doesn't eat meat.

For strict vegetarians obsession for veganslet's call him who is next to the meat he does not consume other food of animal origin, i.e. eggs and dairy products. (Fish, of course, belongs to meat, so a vegan does not eat fish either.)

The main variants of vegetarian nutrition are usually referred to by the following technical terms:

  • ovo-lacto-vegetarian: he only avoids meat and eats eggs and dairy products
  • lactovegetarian: he does not eat meat or eggs, but he does eat dairy products
  • vegan obsession strict vegetarian: eats only plant-based foods, avoids all animal-based ingredients (meat, eggs, dairy products)

Our restaurant vegan, so we prepare our food from purely plant-based ingredients. This also applies to cakes and ice cream, i.e. to all types of food and drinks available in our restaurant.

We make sure that our food does not contain even a trace of ingredients of animal origin, and in the name of naturalness, we avoid additives, dyes and preservatives, as well as caffeinated, alcoholic and carbonated drinks.

THE honey it occupies a special place on the palette of dishes, because it is created from pollen, but with the help of animals. That's why he doesn't consume a lot of vegan honey either.
Food and drinks available in our restaurant they do not contain honey (we solve the sweetening with cane sugar and vegetable syrups).

Everything we had was tasty and flavorful. The bean Goulash was satisfying and a bit different than the other ones I've had in the city so far. Tucson pizza was good and the cold raw zucchini pasta dish was amazing and refreshing in the heat. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Decent portions.

One of the best vegan restaurants in town. If you want to try some vegan Hungarian food, this is the place to go. I have been here countless times, even my non-vegan family members really enjoy the Sunny food and sweets. Some things I recommend: wok noodles with vegetables, quinoa risotto with "cheddar" sauce, gyros platter and fruit soup if you have it (if I remember correctly, this is only a seasonal offer on the menu), Somló dumplings, a slice of marzipan cake. Their seitan is very good, well prepared and seasoned, you must try it!!
